dunji
A little help for your family

Let’s keep your
little moments close.

Help with family setup, connected devices and the tools that turn a drawing, photo or voice note into a family moment.

Before launch dunji is currently being tested. Some setup flows may change before the App Store release.

Contact dunji

info@dunji.app

Tell us your app version, device model and what happened. Please leave out passwords, connection codes, children’s photos, recordings and precise locations. We’ll ask if more information is needed.

Connect a child’s device
  1. On the parent’s device, open Grown-ups using the settings button. Under Little ones, add a child profile.
  2. On the child’s device, open dunji, choose Connect a family device and show its connection code.
  3. On the parent’s device, choose Connect a family device under Connected devices. Choose the child’s profile. Scan the other device’s QR code, or enter its eight-character code.
  4. Choose Review connection. Check the device and profile, then approve. Keep the other device open until it connects.

If a code expires, request a new one on the device you’re connecting.

Add another parent without a second signup

The parent who created the family can add a profile under Parents, then connect that parent’s device using the QR steps above. Select the parent profile before approving. This gives parent controls, including access to post locations. Only approve the intended parent’s device.

Camera or microphone isn’t working

On the device, open Settings → Apps → dunji. Check Camera or Microphone permission. The photo drawer has a button to switch between front and rear cameras. You can also choose a photo from the library.

If every camera app shows black, close any Mac device-control or mirroring session and test Apple’s Camera app. Restart the device if needed. Contact us if dunji alone still has a problem.

A photo or voice note hasn’t appeared

Check the device’s internet connection. Wait for the send operation to finish and look for any error before trying again. On the parent’s feed, pull down to refresh. If the moment is still missing, send us the app version and the type of post, without attaching the family content.

Who can see a post’s location?

Only parents in the same family can view a post’s location snapshot. dunji requests location when a post is sent, with the device’s permission. There is no background location tracking. A post still sends when permission is denied or a recent position is unavailable.

You can change permission under Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → dunji. Changing permission stops future collection; it does not remove snapshots already attached to earlier posts.

Change a child’s picture or sharing tools

Open Grown-ups and tap the child’s profile. Choose a profile picture or adjust the available drawing, photo and voice tools. Children use the tools enabled for their profile.

Disconnect a device or remove a profile

Under Grown-ups → Connected devices, revoke the device’s access. The registering parent manages other parents’ access. Child profiles can be removed from their profile controls. Revoked access is checked on the next server request; previously viewed or downloaded copies may still remain on a device.

Delete the family account

The parent who created the family can open Grown-ups → Privacy and account → Delete family and all content. Read the confirmation and enter the family name to continue. This removes the active family account, profiles, sessions and posts; media cleanup is queued. Previously downloaded copies cannot be recalled. Contact info@dunji.app for privacy or deletion questions.

Email verification or password recovery

Only the registering parent uses an email and password. Check the address and spam folder if an email doesn’t arrive. The sign-in screen offers password recovery. Resetting the password disconnects family devices, which must be connected again. During testing, contact us if the email does not arrive.

Report a concern about content or access

Email info@dunji.app with a brief description. Do not attach children’s content or share active QR codes. A parent can revoke a device’s access from Grown-ups while the concern is investigated.
